The Art League Gallery: October Opening Reception

Our October Open Exhibit features 88 works by Art League artists, spanning painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, mixed media, collage, glass, and fiber art. With no theme or medium restrictions, the exhibition offers an eclectic look at the ideas, perspectives, and creative practices of our artists. The exhibit was juried by artist Paul Sattler, who specializes in imaginative figurative painting, drawing, printmaking, and other two-dimensional art forms.

In the solo exhibition Celebrating Realism, R. Brent Erickson turns his attention to the often-overlooked beauty of everyday life. Through careful observation and a meticulous approach to light and color, his paintings transform fleeting moments into enduring images and invite viewers to discover the extraordinary within the ordinary.
