About Uncrossing the Stars. . .
If at first you don’t succeed…
Seven years ago, something magical happened. Fate threw hopeless housewife Sarah and struggling, B-list actor Joe together at the exact moment they needed each other most. They fell in love and healed each other, but in the end, they sacrificed a life together for family and duty.
Now, Fate has reunited the soulmates on yet another Seattle movie set. The good news is their love burns as brightly as ever, and this time, they’re both available. But that doesn’t mean everything has changed for the better.
Sarah’s now a widow whose tangled grief over her late husband is just the first of many threads to unravel as she chases a promotion and runs desperately from the man who just might be the love of her life. Meanwhile, Joe is now a megastar bigwig wrestling with burnout even as his celebrity shines a little too brightly for comfort these days.
With the stars aligning perfectly on paper, Sarah and Joe should be inevitable, but there’s more than one way to kill a romance. Through a gauntlet of demanding bosses, cruel paparazzi, jealous co-stars, and judgmental family, Sarah and Joe must reconcile with painful truths and decide at long last whether or not true love conquers all.
The heartwarming, heart-healing follow-up to Always Never Meant To Be, Uncrossing the Stars will touch anyone who’s ever longed for a love that would change your life – or dreamed of getting a second chance.
AJ Whittier was the director of Third Place Commons for eight years before leaving to write full-time. Raised in Ohio and marinated in Paris, London, and Los Angeles, she now makes her home with her husband in Kirkland, Washington. Although she studied creative writing, playwriting, and screenwriting at Earlham College and The Ohio State University, she’s since found her sweet spot penning novels. AJ is the author of two previous novels, Always Never Meant To Be: A Love Story and The God in 3B, the first two standalone books in the Magical Seattle Series. When not writing stories designed to bring light, love, and magic to a dark world, you’ll find her obsessing over Bernese Mountain Dogs, favorite books, and movies and nursing a lifelong Broadway addiction.
