For important updates, registration is highly recommended in advance.\n\nAbout seedfall: Emergence. . .\nThe second volume of our annual journal of poetry, prose, and visual art. The work in seedfall is created exclusively by women, nonbinary, and trans creators. This edition features poems, short story, biography, painting, photography, drawing, and hybrid work on the theme of “Emergence.”\n\nAngela Sucich‘s poems appear in RHINO, Nimrod, SWWIM, Consequence Forum and elsewhere. She was honorably mentioned for the Pablo Neruda Prize (2021) and Francine Ringold Award (2020). A poet with a PhD in Medieval Literature, Sucich published a chapbook, Illuminated Creatures (Finishing Line Press, 2023), which won the New Women’s Voices Chapbook Competition. She lives in Leavenworth, Washington, with her husband and daughter.\nLaura E. Garrard is a CranioSacral Therapist on the Olympic Peninsula. Her poetry has appeared in journals such as Bellevue Literary Review, Amethyst, The Madrona Project, Silver Birch, and Pangryus. Her chapbook, Paddling the Sweet Spot Between Life and Death, is available through Finishing Line Press. Winner of the Merit Prize for the 2024 Stories That Need to be Told Contest and Pushcart Prize nominee with TulipTree Publishing, she has also been a finalist for the John and Eileen Allman Prize for Poetry. She wrote a series, Poetry That Fits, on Penn Medicine’s OncoLink.org and holds a master’s degree in journalism.
